Cranks – Box Two M30-P

I have been running Box cranks on my bike since 2017. I enjoy the simple design and sleek look. These cranks have a matte

black finish that wears well over time.Additionally these cranks have a single side load on the non drive side which offer a

great minimalist look. Although these cranks do not have pinch bolts on the non drive crank arm, I do not have to retighten the

side bolt which is a major plus.

Citizen Carbon Frame

After 17 BMX season and countless frames over the years this is first I have owned a carbon frame. I have been on the bike for

afew weeks and have been adjusting well. In the opinion the main difference between alloy frames is the black and white

balance point when manualing. I find myself needing to more precise with longer manuals. The rear end is just as stiff as

other alloy frames which is a plus. I am excited to see how the carbon frame develops over the year.

I have made the switch back to 22.2mm clamp size handlebars. I have typically ran an 8″ inch handlebar, but decided to test a

lower bar to help my gates and sprint position down the first straight. So far, I have been loving the 7.5″ bars compared to the

8″ inch bars. These bars also come in a narrow width of 27″ in. I normally have to trim my bars down to this width, but I was

able to slap them on the bike without have to pull out the metal saw.

I was introduced to these pedals last year by a friend and he went on to rave about how they were his favorite pedal of all time.

Although these come with a high end price tag they truly outperform other flat pedals. The face of the pedal has a concave from

the interior and exterior edge to better accommodate your foot. This concave adds a considerable degree of foundation

between you and bike. The blue pins add a additional degree of “glue” to the pedals giving me confidence to push 110%.
